I really want this game, but it seems I would come out cheaper buying the gamecube game to play with the Wii console than actually buying the Wii Mario Kart game.

Yes. Any GC game will be compatible with the Wii. Just make sure you have a GC controller and a GC memory card though, otherwise the GC games won’t work!
Yes I do it twice a day
yes all gamecube games work on wii it is backwards compatible
Yea you can any gamecube game works on wii , i think i play alot of my games for gamecube on wii but its a little different.(controls)
YH
yes, it will work. all gamecube games ever made will work on the wii. the mario kart wii is a lot superior to mario kart double dash, it really is worth saving for the game.
Yes the Wii plays all gamecube games but you need to use the gamecube controllers.
While Mario Kart: Double-Dash!! may be cheaper… you’ll need to have a Gamecube Memory card (which an MC-251 will cost you about $15 if you don’t have one) & Gamecube controllers (which will cost you about $20-$30 if you don’t have one).
So the $20 you spent for Mario Kart: Double-Dash!! (GCN) may cost you a total of $55 if you don’t have the Gamecube components. By comparison, Mario Kart Wii will cost you about $55 w/ tax.
Since Mario Kart Wii has online content & fairly simple controls (if you choose to go with that), you’ll probably be happier with that instead of Mario Kart: Double-Dash!! (GCN).
Yes, but you still need to use the gamecube controllers.
Wii and Gamecube games work on the wii. So, you can play Mario Kart Double Dash on your wii. But, you have to have a gamecube controller to do it.
Yes it can play BUT it can’t play 100% properly, maybe 99%.
When you play it on the gamecube you have an option to do 8-player lan games, but not on the wii. After all, a gamecube broadband adapter cannot be connected to a wii.
Also you need a gamecube memory card and some gamecube controllers.
Yessir just make sure you have a Gamecube memory card and a controller
Yes, but you can’t use a wii remote though.
