How can I find out my own code on Mario Kart Wii for the friend area?

I have a wifi connection, but how can I possibly find out my own code so I can tell my friend to add me onto her friend list on Mario Kart Wii? I would grateful to whomever answers my question!
When you start the game it is on top of the license you have.
Go to License, and then it is on the top.
