I really want to go on myspace using my new Nintendo Wii. Will someone please explain to me how to hook my Nintendo Wii up to the internet? Do I have to get a cable or something?
Please do step by step instructions.
Would you also include how I find out codes (if needed) from my computer?

The easiest way to do this would be to get the nintendo wifi usb connector. It sends out a wireless signal to your wii and you connect to the internet like that. I am selling one on eBay right now. It is used and in excellent condition. Below is the link.
well theres a few ways to do it
1. get a wi-fi adapter, they dont sell them in stores any more but I believe that you could still get it from nintendo’s website for $ 40.
2. the other way is to do it manually by searching for an access point from your modem, or if you live close enough you can get internet from the houses next to you ( if their internet is unprotected )
3. the other way is that you can buy a LAN adapter which is just connecting it with some wire.
if your gonna connect it manually you have to know your gateway password (thats only if your internet is locked though). I didnt know my password so i just wasted the $40 to buy the wi-fi adapter, but that was like in January of 08′ when they were still selling it.
And if you dont know the password you ask your internet provider.
when you have it all connected first you have to go to the wii shop channel and buy the internet channel so you can go to internet (which costs 500 nintendo points, which is 5 dollars).
if you still have questions, ask me at Xboxmarco95@yahoo.com
you just use the internet channel but you have to pay $5 to download it from the wii shop channel. You only pay $5 once by the way. You also need to have a wireless internet connection.
