Its not my question.. but I’d like some answers if you know.
I’ll start: its MSRP is cheaper than the 360 or the PS3.

It’s much better than sitting and trying to figure out what each of the 10 or so buttons on the typical game controller. It’s got a much better UI (User Interface) because it doesn’t have any really confusing organization pattern.
It’s controls are EASY to pick up! even my mom can play bowling. Not to mention the virtual console. Everyone’s played at least one game from there.
The 360 and PS3 are designed to be the center piece of your entertainment system. The wii just plays games and has a couple of extra internet features thrown in for the good measure.
The wii price tag is cheaper as well as the price of its content.
Accessory prices are about the same.
Online feature of the wii are mostly free.
360 is about 50$ a year. Not sure about the PS3.
The 360 has 11 buttons and 2 analog sticks and 1 ‘digital’
The wii (with nunchuck) has 8 buttons 1 analog stick 1 digital.
Non gamers have trouble with analog stick but just about everyone can point. Making it point and click (mouse like) interface easier for a greater audience.
