I am afraid that Nintendo will release a new game console in the next two or three years. I don’t really care if the new system is an update to the wii, but i do care if it is a totally new gaming system. I am also scared because the Wii price is now 9.99 which is a pretty cheep price and if they make the price .99 next year then that would mean that the Nintendo Wii is starting to get old. Can you all please explain your answer and not have a one word answer. Thank you so much and i really appreciated.

I can’t see it lasting much longer, like you said 2-3 years at most. But I don’t think that the next console will be completely new, probably just Wii 2.0, HD capabilities and better motion controls.
TBH I’m more interested to see what Sony or MS will do in the coming years. This entire gen is starting to seem old to me, and I don’t even own any of the current gen consoles!
Wii is the most sold system. New systems come out every 5-6 years, so the next generation of systems will come out in about 2010-2011. Wii’s last about 2-3 years, so I think it is a good buy, just make sure that you will like it. As dumb as this sounds, do some research on it.
