Mario Kart Wii: How do you take pictures at the end of a cup?

My friend has sent me pictures from Mario Kart over the Wii console, I would ask him but he isn’t around right now so I was wondering if anyone knew how to.
1. The pictures were probably at the end of a engine class (50cc, 100cc, etc.)
2. If you are "buddies" with each other, then you can send pics.
3. When you finish an engine class, there is an option that asks you if "you want a picture commemorating your progress".
4. Say YES, and go to the Wii Message Board.
5. Click on the envelope, and then click on the picture.
6. On the bottom right-hand corner, there should be a button labeled "SEND".
7. Click on it, and select your friend from the address book. It should send.
