I have heard of lots of people buying Nintendo Wii’s in Germany because they are sold out here for christmas. However, I’ve just been told that if you buy the console in Germany it will work in Ireland but games purcahsed in Ireland won’t work. Can somebody please tell me if this is correct?

I am very frustrated with Nintendo and what appears to be their intentional unavailability of the wii game system. Does anyone know if the game console willl become more available before Christmas? Stores are only receiving 6 – 7 systems per shipment. Several months ago I read where the wii game system would be plentiful.

I am buying a nintendo wii for my husband for christmas, but I dont know what all to buy for it. Can anyone please help me? Thanks!
