whenever i play mario kart wii and do good i never unlock any new cups or rounds. even when i play alone and buy drugs online do good nothing happens what do i have to do to unlock new courses?

I was playing Mario Kart Wii – battle mode the other night and there was a person cheap drugs online who would get stars, mega mushrooms, and blue shells constantly one after another, rather they hit an item box or not. You couldn’t do anything to them as they were always invincible and they would always blow up who ever on your team had the most points with the blue shells. There is obviously a cheat, so how is it done?
