what game console is better the nintendo wii or the xbox 360?why?

What are some of the differences between the two.

Xbox is a game players console, more serious, better graphics, more aimed at single gameplayers (although many games support multiplayer).
Wii has been created to be a console that can be played and enjoyed by anyone (hence the name – Wii/We). The games are less hardcore but more geared towards multiplayer and group gaming.
In my opinion you can’t compare them, they have different aims and serve different markets. Wii is different from Xbox and PS3, the latter two are the ones competing with each other for ‘Best console’ although that title is slightly ambiguous given the range of consoles on the market.
Hope that helps. Just so you know, I own a Wii and I’ve played an Xbox a number of times, I like them both for different reasons and would happily own either.

The graphics aren’t as good but that’s not the point, the thing about the Wii is that it’s completely original and great fun, and the greatest games for it haven’t even appeared yet (Super mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl to name a few) so it can only get better, plus you can download old console games.

The only difference between those two is the price and graphics. while the graphics is acceptable in the wii, it is breath taking in the x-box 360. The x-box has an additional Internet browsing feature which i think is not present in the wii. however the wii is more user friendly and is much more fun to play owing to the fact that the wii has legendary games(Muper Mario…. stuff like that) and the controls in the wii are much easier to use. so if graphics is not a factor i’d say the wii is the better bet.
Wii = Fun,Non-Violence(less violence i mean),Family Type Console which most of children and teenager will love to play and the graphic are only 3D modeling shading which mean not so good as XBox 360 which use ATI(i think)
XBox360 = for more Aggresive player to play Adventurous game,Online game(xbox Live),Fighting and violence game and for more mature player too which like thriling and excitement!

the xbox 360 because you can play it all day but unlike the wii it concentrates on wat you can do be cause if you get tired you just swing.but unlike the xbox 360 you can play for hours .
for me ps3 but for your question ill chose wii because the 360 just suck
I haven’t played both consoles but i own the 360 and i know people with the wii, id say the 360 is better if you want to play more serious games and if you want to play with friends on-line as opposed to the wii which is more of a party con sol where you would have friend over and play a bunch of party games.
